What is the next Trek road bike going to be called? Updated 7/1/14

Update down below for New Trek Model.

After Trek came out with some nice full carbon frames which was designated the 5000 series (I own a 5200), the elite bike was the 5900. After that, you'd expect it to go to the 6000s, right? Well, Trek made a break in logic and introduced the Madone 5.9.

What is a madone? It's a small town in the Lombardy region of Italy.

It's a mountain in Switzerland.

It's also the French word for Madonna. Yes, if you are riding a Madone, you are sitting on the Mother of God. Now, I hope Trek meant to go with either the Italian town reference or the Swiss alp. Please let it be so.

After the Madone was introduced, the numbering system was still kind of there. There were Madone 5.2's, 5.5's, and the 5.9 of course. Later came a redesign of the frame, and then we had Madones in the 6's. Here's a picture for reference:

Then Trek introduced a new frame with blockier tubes for chewed up roads and cobbles. Obviously 7000 series is many years gone as a possibility, so they called it Domane. Well, what the hell is that? In Latin it means "overcoming." It's from the root word for dominate. In German, Domaene (Domäne) is the word for domain in all its English definitions: region, sphere, realm, public domain, demesne. I'm thinking Trek liked the first reference there. And the Domane comes in different flavors like the Madone in 5's and 6's. The Madone also recently started up a 7 series, so the Domane will probably get there too. Let's take a look at that blocky frame:

Harder edges than the Madone for sure. So, why am I concerned about the names of these things? Well, I noticed that Domane is just an anagram of Madone.

Freaky, right? So, what's coming next? I've got some suggestions.

NODAME

Because that bike's a lady! She aint no dame.

ONMEAD

Because that honey beer is tasty! Just sayin'.

AMONDE

Because Trek is going worldwide! Hmm, sounds pretty good actually, but a bit too close to a bridge that's already burned *cough*Lemonde*cough*.

I'm sure there are better ones, but as for suggestions on this post, I

Update: 7/1/14

Trek has come out with a new bike right before the Tour de France. It's called

Hah! Based on the French word emonder, meaning "to trim." Still keeping that anagram style going.
