Fatal Metaphor For Clinton's Chances?

After Hillary Clinton made a big deal to support the only filly in the Kentucky Derby, Eight Belles finished second behind Big Brown, and then broke both front ankles on the cooldown lap, and had to be euthanized on the track. With how Democrats are usually treated after losing to Republicans in the presidential race, I hope this is not some kind of metaphorical prediction if Hillary gets the nomination, but then loses to McCain in the general, or even how the Democrats will treat her if Obama finally gets the nomination. The latter might be the more apt metaphor since it was "Big Brown" who won, or does just mentioning that make me racist?

  2. Poor horse. Hillary, on the other hand, will get everything she deserves --- good or bad.

I'm not a fan of horse racing. They race the horses too young and too hard, so they are prone to injury.

Kind of like having a fifth grader learn ballet in steel-toed dance shoes -- without lamb's wool.
