The girls have sleepovers on the same night. Tomoko wants to be Akane's younger sister. Sakurako needs to practice her kanji more.

Episode 4 - "The Night Will Bring Them Closer Together"

Heh.

We've been getting a healthy dose of the "yuru" part of this show, but this episode brought the "yuri!"

 

Aw, poor Ayano. Try as she might to get closer to Kyoko, the show's OTP (one true pair) is still Yui and Kyoko.

 

There was still a whole bunch of "laziness" covered by Sakurako showing off her deficiency in writing characters. Especially color kanji. You're supposed to learn those in 1st Grade over in Japan. Now I don't feel so bad for looking up everything...

 

Uh, did Kyoko learn all about "sexy" poses from muscle building magazines?

That's right, Yui. Fall into Kyoko's trap like you always do.

It's an animal hoodie pajama party all over the place!

Kyoko is definitely not lazy about her manga and anime hobbies. She made all those animal hoodies by herself. She's going to be a great cosplay artist. Well, as long as she gets someone else to wear her outfits since she has no idea how to strike "sexy" poses...

 

Chinatsu really wanted to keep that freezing prank going. But Akari should have noticed the flinch.

I love how all the yuri crushes between the girls are open secrets except for the targets. Everyone knows Ayano has a thing for Kyoko, except Kyoko. Everyone knows Chinatsu loves her Yui-senpai, except Yui. I think she suspects, though.

Yeah, I don't see Yui making this kind of unabashed smile in real life either. Except Kyoko says she has photographic proof!

Akari is so gullible in a cute way. But props to Sakurako to turn their freezing prank into a contest to see who would break their pose first. That made the most sense.

 

I suspected Tomoko had the yuri hots for Akane and yappari (as I thought)!

The picture album scene was hilarious with Akane huffing over Akari and Tomoko puffing over young Akane.

 

Tomoko's pure heart had a scare when she thought her fantasy girlfriend might have a boyfriend.

But no. She's still in the clear. Akane's heart only has room for her sweet little sister Akari. Well, if Tomoko can become a little sister type to Akane, she can find some room in there too, right? Tomoko! Fight-o!
