Hakari fought with her mother, Hahari, in the prologue to this Hyakkano episode. The whole wedding dress photo plot received an extra emotional dimension.
Hakari invited Rentarou and her soulmate colleagues to a flower garden date. Why? It was the monthly bouquet toss, where the grand prize was a wedding photo shoot by local dressmakers and photographers. That's a lot of synergy between a florist, a wedding dressmaker, and photographers. Team Renarou needed to win against the highly organized Gorilla biker gang. Karane's wrestling expertise proved key to their victory! Karane thanked the biker gang leader for keeping her away from the booby crash pad team that broke Shizuka's fall after she nabbed the winning bouquet.
Team Rentarou won, but Hakari needed to win that photo for herself! She thought she could cheat by rigging the lots her friends drew, but pure luck gave her victory. She ominously said she wanted to make a happy memory for Rentarou and her friends. But not for herself? Hakari mysteriously disappeared after the photo shoot of her in a wedding dress.
Where did Hakari disappear to? Rentarou traced the return address to Hakari's home. She was under house arrest! Hakari's mother, Hahari, discovered the soulmate arrangement with Rentarou and ended Hakari's relationship with them. With her money, Hahari would uproot Hakari to another school and make sure her friends would never find her again. Rentarou and Hakari's friends decided on a rescue mission! So much drama!
