Thea's quest to understand the note she found in a treasure chest converted the episode into a love comedy farce for the other girls. Thea found a clue that Klaus rescued her from abuse, which released her traumatic memories. Unfortunately, the other girls of Lamplight created their own trauma with a massive cake fight. It was worse when Lily learned that Klaus did not love her or the other girls.
Klaus turned his washout students into as formidable a spy team as Bonfire. Lamplight graduated, so they now have a new mission and villain to fight. Next season, when?
