Kazuya booked a date with Chizuru to cheer her up after her grandmother's funeral. But he didn't tell her that. The cringy liar, again, simped all over a woman without respecting her intellect, wishes, or agency. Chizuru began to suspect the cringy simp had an odd plan when they did things she would enjoy, like seeing and eating her favorite type of movie and cuisine.
The simping, cringy liar even took her rock-climbing and eating all-you-can-eat crab. The season finale might have that unsympathetic try-hard elicit a moment of emotional honesty from Chizuru, but it won't matter. It will soon be over.
