When Yohane and Lailaps were children, Yohane wished for her puppy companion to be a good little sister. That magic spell gave Lailaps her voice, but it meant that Yohane had given a piece of herself to her furry companion. Yohane would be her own person when she took back Lailaps's voice. Because it was Yohane's all along.
