Ashikiba's metronome looks crazy! Teshima's try-hard nature resonates with Ashikiba. It's a positive feedback loop: resonance. Yowamushi Pedal will make three kilometers up a mountain road last twenty minutes. Teshima never thought spectators would chant his name, but his effort made it happen.

Switch to the college men, the former Big Three. Tadokoro can't stand it! Teshima, his sprinter protégé, is trying to win the mountain sprint! Makishima makes the point people too close to someone can't always tell when talent blooms. But others, like the crowd, can notice leaps of changes between sightings. Ashikiba, somehow while sprinting his heart out, tells Teshima that the entertaining karaoke singer became a bicycle racer instead. Teshima breaks his limits when he rides for others than himself.

Sohoku and Hakone can hear the cheers lower down the mountain. They know Teshima is riding for their sake. Sohoku powers up! Kuroda thinks Teshima is a zombie because he keeps coming back to life. Yeah, but here comes Teshima's cycling death scene.
