While grocery shopping, Max met one of Leo's old crew, Anego. That's not really her name, but that was what all the other characters called her, "Elder Sister." After switching back to her abs-flaunting outfit, Anego tried to convince Max to come and visit Leo and his breakaway republic. Meanwhile, Will, a young man who had never seen Max in action, coerced Maou into following him to extort Max into traveling to his nation. Sounds like terrorism! Anego warned him not to make Max angry, but Will found out anyway. Maou decided it was time to learn why Max's old friends were adamant about having him on their side. Zenia's butt was somehow involved in arranging her and Max's itinerary. I'm sure it's about the magic ore Leo found inside the territory.

I noticed one difference between Max and his colleagues, Fred and Leo: those two had a support crew before they joined Max's hero party. Max was always alone, so he returned to his loner ways after the need for the hero's party to stay together was gone. With his newly found wealth and celebrity, he had no one around him to keep him out of trouble and grounded. It's fun to note that he has a crew now, with Maou and her demons, who were the ones he needed to destroy ten years ago. Heartwarming!
