Klaudia saw her friends working seriously in their training, but they appeared frazzled after the events of the Sunken Mine. She asked Empel and Lila for a favor. Lila had an idea — training camp at the beach! The kids could play in the sun, and Lila would give them fun "quests."
Lila made the boys work to catch flying coconuts while Klaudia taught Ryza how to be comfortable underneath the ocean water. When everyone was warmed up, the mini-quests began.
The final quest involved Lila's melons after several small tasks, like finding alchemical ingredients in various locations. Er, melon! The kids needed to take away a tasty fruit from her. But Lila was too skilled at evading their clumsy lunges. The trio had to work together as an alchemist party.
Ryza hatched a plan that would include Klaudia. The kids used alchemical traps to force Lila into a final trap: tripping into a life buoy! The melon flew out of her hands right into Ryza's. Quest complete! The prize? Slices of that juicy melon! The kids didn't like the taste, but Lila thought it was delicious.
