Saku's workmate Yuri heard she has a cat. That would ruin Saku's chances of getting married! But Saku has more issues about her cat than stifling her romantic life. Yukichi, her housecat, is more like a housewife! Yukichi's excellent cooking skills and pampering his messy and lazy master are much more difficult to explain.
Studio GoHands flexes its animation muscles in two shows this summer season. The special effects and 3D POV camera pans are overkill for the slice-of-life titles Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuutsu (The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again Today) and Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta. Still, the over-the-top animation quality fits the surreal story about an oversized cat who can call his master at work to goad her into coming home for dinner.
