Hime still struggles to separate her Hime-chan role in the cafe from the Hime-chan facade she puts on to get people to like her. How hard is it to understand improv roleplaying? Sumika and Mitsuki get it. She adores Mitsuki's attention, whether on the salon floor where they work together or in the employee spaces where they relax. That's not supposed to happen!
The episode's revelation is Mitsuki knew Hime in elementary school and ratted out her lying facade to the other girls. Hime cares so little about others that she still can't recognize the taller and more developed Mitsuki.
Mai had to remind Sumika to maintain her character in the staff breakroom while in costume. Even if she spoke politely, the Sumika-senpai character would never rest her legs on a tabletop like the gyaru she is in real life. That rule made Mitsuki struggle with how to talk to Hime because she knew her before they went to different junior high schools. Mitsuki and Kanoko know about Hime's fakery, but Mitsuki-oneesama does not. Mitsuki had to reveal her true identity as Hime's betrayed childhood friend, Mitsuki Yano. How will this affect their working relationship?
Illustrator Saburouta, of citrus fame, drew the end card for this episode.
