Lyra met her ex-boyfriend, an Edward Snowden stand-in, during the Christmas season. He found a picture of her in a red ballgown with Brian, so he lured her to his server farm location. Lyra used a tactic from their favorite Christmas movie, Die Hard, to smuggle a gun even though she appeared to have nothing to hide. She got rid of the jealous AI ghost with a Marginal Explosion!
