Tomo-chan agreed to go on a date with Jun! But first, she needed a more feminine outfit. Carol and Misuzu decided to go halfway so Tomo-chan could still do the tomboy stuff Jun expected.
Tomo-chan wondered what it meant to be a girl. Comparing herself to Carol was a mistake because the foreigner was a "special case."
We met Tomo-chan's mom, Akemi! She looks like the older version of her daughter. Akemi told Jun that even though Papa Aizawa had trouble receiving affection from her, he would do anything to protect her. Jun has been secretly solving Tomo-chan's "problems" since elementary school. Tomo-chan can handle one bully, but Jun can deal with that bully's whole gang.
