The Hestia Party felt glimmers of hope as they traveled across a dungeon floor to find Bell. But a new swarm of monsters started to overwhelm them. Worse, another swarm ran straight at them, but suddenly, the later beasts began killing the other monsters! They were the Xenos and came to rescue Bell after hearing from Marie the Mermaid. Hope continues to build!
The entire time Ryuu spent with Bell trying to survive the Deep Floors' horrors, she recalled a philosophical debate with her dead guildmates. When should you compromise idealism for practical reality? There will come a time when an adventuring party needs to sacrifice members for the group to survive and escape the dungeon. Ryuu is the only surviving member of her old guild, so she dropped all her idealism. When she asked her guild leader what if someone could make their ideals a reality? There's a specific term for that individual: Hero. Guess what Bell just became in Ryuu's eyes. He did not accept her self-sacrifice; they would escape the Deep Floors together!
