Episode 4 – “Why Don’t You Come Inside, Senpai-kun?”
Hmm.
Anetoro has multiple levels of teasing! Look at how she bullied Senpai in this episode of Miss Nagatoro! She threatened violence like her little sister, but on many dimensions. Physical violence wouldn’t come at her hands, though. Anetoro promised the power of the state to make Senpai miserable. And it wasn’t only the threat of arrest. But the entire legal system of interrogation, detainment, and trial would loom over Senpai. All that from pushing buttons on an electronic device.
Nagatoro should take notes because she only has physical teasing and two forms of emotional taunting. She whacks Senpai with wiggly arms, accuses him of being a pervert, and calls him a virgin. Anetoro’s little sister is still not admitting feelings of attraction, so Anetoro wants to maximize Nagatoro’s stress. The first mode was embarrassing her. Imagine your crush comes to visit, and you’re still in your messy pajamas and hair. If you don’t like Senpai, why do you care so much about your appearance? If you do like him, why can’t you admit it? Exquisite emotional torture!
We’ve talked about how much Senpai has grown in confidence since the first season of Miss Nagatoro. Nagatoro also shows character development as time progresses. Sure, she’s softening her teasing of Senpai, but I mean something different. She’s getting better at video games! Last season, she beat Senpai by playing games outside the game. Senpai still hasn’t learned how to do that. But Nagatoro improved her fighting skills with her cat character. Senpai had better watch out, or he’ll lose the next bet against Nagatoro.

It’s Anetoro time in Miss Nagatoro! She bought pudding for her little sister. Anime girls need that jiggly dessert when they’re sick. Uh oh. She saw a mousy peeping tom! Ha! She’s sadistic like Nagatoro. Moreso! And we’re caught up to the epilogue from the last episode. Quick turnaround. From calling the cops to inviting a bushy-haired stalker inside. Anetoro can handle “Senpai-kun.”
Senpai has been inside the “Nagatoro Hausu” before, but the big sister makes him extra nervous. He escaped the police interrogation, although the Anetoro interview makes him wish he didn’t. Hahaha! Third-degree questions about “naughty things!” In Miss Nagatoro, Nagatoro always teases Senpai about being a pervert, so the sister must have her version of toying with him. Anetoro is having too much fun. We have proof that Nagatoro talks about Senpai at home. Anetoro wants to enjoy his over-the-top embarrassed reactions too! Change the subject, Senpai-kun. Nagatoro won a gold medal in Judo. Did she win the other trophies? Anetoro’s voice is in its top-level teasing mode. Isn’t Senpai curious about “this and that and everything else?”
Hahaha! Humiliation for everyone except Anetoro! I enjoyed the comedic pause Miss Nagatoro gave us. Nice neko pajamas there, Nagatoro. Anetoro calmly sits there as if this loud calamity isn’t her fault. Ah. Nagatoro put herself together quickly for her Senpai. Oh, you know she’ll take her frustration out on him later. Aw. Senpai knows Nagatoro’s favorite pudding. Hee! Now we see how Nagatoro receives disaster-grade teasing from a master. Pudding a la mode with generous toppings of attitude! Senpai is aware of the interplay, but he can only watch. Beware Anetoro! A police interrogation gives you katsudon. The Anetoro interrogation serves fruit pudding.
Expeditious rearward movement! Nagatoro takes Senpai with her in a tactical retreat to her room. Aw. The awkward couple of Miss Nagatoro can express a bit of gratitude and grace in private. Over too soon. Nagatoro needs her fix of toying with Senpai. I love this. Nagatoro wants to make Senpai squirm, but she also wants to show him affection. Feeding him pudding from her spoon is a win on two levels. Har. She calls Senpai a “closet pervert” for wanting to be hand fed. Nagatoro needs to expand her repertoire of insults. Bwahaha! Anetoro’s timing is perfect. She busted both of them! Oh, man. Nagatoro is blushing harder than Senpai! Anetoro says they must have worked up a thirst. Doing what, sister? Doing what!? Enjoy your stay, Senpai-kun, and take your time. Fufufu... The Anetoro Interrogation was only postponed. Beware Anetoro! Welcome to the “Nagatoro Hausu,” Senpai. The episode eye-catches show how Anetoro turned pudding into a dangerous teasing weapon.
Pudding finished, Senpai needs to escape! Not so fast. Miss Nagatoro requires a satisfaction scene. She can’t get back at her sister, but how will she take out her frustrations on Senpai? Video game rematch! No upgrade to the PS5 yet. Do you recall that Senpai’s player character looks like the hero from his manga? Nagatoro has improved but is it enough to beat Senpai? Not yet. However, Senpai has not improved his playing skills outside of the fight game. Nagatoro can rattle, distract, and demoralize! K.O. You Lose!
Nagatoro raises the stakes to motivate Senpai. If he can win, she’ll tell him a secret! Nagatoro works herself into a frenzy with anticipation. Of course, it’s to tease Senpai as a “closet pervert.” But it feels like she wants to reveal more of herself to him. Like, um, her first name? Heck, we don’t even know Senpai’s name in Miss Nagatoro. That confession made her happy. Will they become a baka couple shouting each other’s first names in public? Ah. Senpai won by default. Hey! Don’t block yourself, Senpai! Nagatoro wanted to tell you her name. The socially awkward boy needs to practice reading the room. At least Nagatoro appreciates his sense of chivalry. These guys are so pure! Asking a first name is like asking someone on a date! The man should do it properly! No, it’s not, but we’re watching an age-appropriate reaction. Aggressive affection explosion!
Ahahaha! All for naught! Anetoro stepped all over “Hayase-chan’s” emotionally touching scene! Even worse. The big sister brought a photo album! Delicious embarrassment. Boo. Denied. Nagatoro is over her cold, so she’ll be back at school, toying with Senpai again. He can’t wait, Hayase.
Epilogue time for Miss Nagatoro. Good. Nagatoro is back to bothering Senpai in the art club room. She’s not wearing her tights. That’s the perfect excuse to model for his sketches again. Whoops. Senpai agreed to a one-legged pose. How long can Nagatoro handle that? Models should take breaks, you know. Too late. Her legs went numb. Senpai broke her fall, but at what cost? The usual. Getting accused of copping a feel, called a closet pervert, and a creepy virgin.
Next time, Nagatoro repays Senpai by giving her his cold and visiting him!
