Mappa, the animation studio producing Chainsaw Man, tried to mix 2D with 3D during Denji's drunken sleepover with Himeno. They need more practice matching the elements together.
We saw more of Himeno's drunken proposition of Denji in her bed. Denji ultimately declined Himeno's offer, but he felt guilty denying Pochita an incredible memory. Denji wants to save his first time for Makima!
Character development playtime is over. It's a new villain arc for Chainsaw Man. How did the Katana Devil merge with the grandson of Denji's old yakuza boss? In the same way that the Chainsaw Devil did with him? And who is Red Hoodie Girl that can defeat powerful demons under contract with veteran Devil Hunters? And how does everyone come back to life after being shot by the Gun Devil's minions? I sense an incredible revelation of Makima's powers in the next episode.
