Kazuya's birthday party had several interruptions. First, Ruka gave him a sloppy kiss for his present. Then Chizuru's grandmother suffered a health setback.
Chizuru's grandmother appeared fine after they all rushed back to the hospital, but the doctor confided privately that she didn't have much longer. Chizuru resolved to keep lying to her grandma about dating Kazuya until the grandmother died. Ruka decided to call a truce for Chizuru's sake. So, everyone keeps lying to everyone.
