Anya explored subjects to see if she was good at any of them. She wasn't good at taking tests, so excelling in other things might be the only way she got outstanding recognition from Eden's College. We know Anya already has a unique skill in reading thoughts, so she did use that one to save a drowning victim.
Lloyd needed a break from his part-time spy work. His spy family work isn't a vacation either, but sometimes it feels like one.
