Zero laid out her plan of attack and defense. To protect the village while causing no deaths, the witches would use traps, healing magic, and Sayb's unlimited power storage. Zero had a specific attack to kill the demon-possessed leader of the army.

There were traps in the viewing gallery too. The witches needed to catch out the witch-hunter sympathizers. So they used Loux's magic staff to mimic the Remnants of Disaster. That worked. The prize for the successful defeat was the graduation of the problem student witches. Holt, Sayb, and Kudo would be together for a while longer, though.
