The redhead is a secret school idol fan and wants to keep it a secret.
The Liella girls thought about making their training and practice sessions easier so as not to scare away recruits. But the girls are so dedicated to winning Love Live! that they trained just as hard on their own. After they caught themselves exercising outside the published schedule, they decided to be truthful in their recruiting materials. Then Kanon recruited a secret rival. That's the cliffhanger!
The second episode gave the ending theme credits. The girls of Liella had fun trying out each other's hairstyles. The end card shows Kinako enjoying baked goods.
