Lame Kazuya booked Chizuru for weekly dates to support her acting career, but she knows he can't afford her. Ruka also knows about the arrangement, but she allows her terrible boyfriend to waste his money. Chizuru needs to keep lying to her sick grandma about having a boyfriend, so they're both horrible to each other. Even going to the batting cage was to waste time before visiting hours at the hospital. Terrible.
The second episode gave us a proper end credit sequence. The rental girlfriends toured many date spots that Kazuya couldn't afford.
