Tsubaki, kunoichi Team Akane leader, needed to retrieve her irresponsible teammates. Sazanka had dragged the perpetually hungry Asagao with her to fight ninja men! Female and male ninjas train separately, and they must stay segregated. Complicating matters, Tsubaki became curious about men just as male ninjas had classes during the night.
Sazanka and Asagao escaped harsh punishment. Harsh to Asagao would have meant less rice in her bowl! However, Sazanka noticed how preoccupied Tsubaki was the next day. She wondered if Tsubaki gained a weakness around the word "men." Tsubaki wasn't about to admit that, but her curiosity began to frustrate her more.
