Hiyori showed Koharu how to use her new neoprene gaiters to stand in cold river water. Then she taught her how to hunt fish hiding under rocks. Hiyori had a cute way of encouraging the fish to "chomp" Koharu's lures. At last, Koharu caught her first fish in the country.
Unfortunately, a sudden lightning storm caught the girls out. Koharu forgot her poncho and ended up soaking wet. That led to the dreaded summer hell-cold-flu. As Koharu's new grandparents took care of her, along with Hiyori, Koharu remembered her mother and little brother visiting her in the hospital. It was a warm, fluffy memory that matched her step-family's care.
