Inosuke saw Daki's revealed form, but he had no words to correctly describe it to Tanjirou. The Upper Three demon uses an obi, a decorative belt, as tentacles and extra arms. Her goal was to eat beautiful humans, and Koinatsu fitted the bill.
Tanjirou saw how Daki makes her victims disappear. She uses her obi arms to magically place them in a fabric prison. Tanjirou knew he was out of his depth in challenging the top-ranked demon, but he had no choice if he wanted to rescue Koinatsu. His tenacious attitude insulted Daki. Only a Demon Slayer Pillar should feel entitled to address her directly.
Tanjirou successfully separated Koinatsu from Daki, but he felt the massive disparity in their power, skills, and experience. He knew he needed to persevere until help arrived. Can he do it?
