The backwater province of Southmarsh faces violent problems from a drug turning its users temporarily insane. The former Champion Rit needed to give up her peaceful life of snuggling with Red. She hunted down gangsters spreading the substance and found a disturbing demonic connection. She needed a big session of lap-sitting with Red after that.
