Ruti could enjoy flavor, heat, and spices after the Hero's Blessing stopped dominating her personality.

Gideon found a way to disarm his sister when she lost her mind and became the Pure Hero. Theodora reconciled with her, and the only party member they lost was the insane Ares. It was time to go home.

When things calmed down, Rit and Red finally had a chance to share their bed in all the ways they wanted. Spectacular!

Ruti quickly adjusted to the peaceful life in Zoltan. She spent time with her brother, had fun with her friends Tisse and Rit, and did some Hero work occasionally. There's room for a sequel in this story. Red still needs to solve the mystery of the First Hero's origin. And Yarandrala wants to visit and tease Rit some more.
