Rio Matsuse saw Touko gained recognition in the pottery contest from last season. She challenges her old friend to compete in a new competition. Touko refused, but we'll see if that changes.
Himeno's friends and family wonder if she has plans for her next pottery creation. She has nothing! It appears that Himeno will need to reach into her mother's past to grasp a new inspiration. Talking with her club adviser, Mami-sensei, might help because she met her mother in high school. Signs point to Himeno trying to create an artisanal drinking vessel for hot liquids. Some may call it a "mug."
