After Shiki defeated Madame Kurenai's massive robot, he wanted to do a specific thing to her. Scary!

Shiki's goal was to fulfill Valkyrie's mission. He needed to reunite Kurenai and Homura as mother and daughter. Whatever happened after that was up to Homura to decide.

Homura thanked the greedy Kurenai for giving her life, but she never wanted to see her again. Homura considered her real mother to be the one who raised her: Valkyrie. Kurenai met a cruel and vengeful fate afterward.

The crew of the Edenszero successfully escaped Joe Drakken's forces. Sister and Witch needed to mourn the death of their friend and colleague. Homura suggested that she take Valkyrie's place as the missing Shining Star. Her title would be simple: Homura. When does she get the "E1" sign on her collar? The story of Edens Zero isn't over yet, but it is goodbye for now.
