Reminding you that anime will save the universe, Rebecca cosplaying as Sorano Angel from Fairy Tail would have been much better than the magical girl that Labilia chose.
Paul, the oldtimer who stole Rebecca's panties, clearly knows who Valkyrie is. He needs to test Rebecca to see if she's reliable enough for the story behind his organization and its connection to Valkyrie. I noticed there wasn't a scene where he gave Rebecca back her underwear.
Shiki and Homura fought against a crystal creature that was much more dangerous than the other bug-like ones they had seen before. It was the Boss of the mine! Luckily, Rebecca arrived with Paul, Happy, and Pino to help them. Together, they devised a strategy to defeat the creature and won! Shiki and Homura's collars counted down the crystals they collected from killing the monster, and then they immediately reset! This proved that people sent to the labor district never regained their freedom.
Homura impressed Paul with how she used her broken Ether Swords because he recognized those swords as the same ones belonging to Valkyrie. He gave her information on how to find her former master. Simultaneously, Madame Kurenai decided that pursuing the Edenszero would be more lucrative than slaves mining red crystals. That is a crazy setup for drama and violence in the next episode. Also, Paul still didn't give Rebecca her panties back.
