Demon Lord Ω begins in jail. The Church calls jail cells “confession chambers.” Lots of bloodstains on the floor from simple “confessions.” Vishos shot Lumachina a complicated look when she prayed for his soul. I saw envy, regret, and surprise that the pure Head Priest had such faith. Vishos claims that even God will be under his control soon. Like that ever works out.
Let’s see how Horn gets back into the Demon Lord Ω game. She rationalizes her escape with Diablo’s presence making everything alright. She’s correct, but she doesn’t want to leave her friends behind. That’s a big cup. Suddenly, a high school girl appears. Ha! Diablo collected the Holy Grail! There are two characters from Diablo’s vault that have nothing to do with a magical fantasy setting.
Fun. This little being is a panty flash machine. We need more of that in Demon Lord Ω. Babalon, the Level-Up Goddess, dwells in the Holy Grail. Horn is only Level 20. Babalon miffs easily. She’s like a school idol or celebrity needing constant attention. The Grail’s goddess needs an offering. Thankfully, Horn already gave one. What, her tears? Babalon says she needs fresh blood from a virgin. Uh, when did Horn give her that? Babalon sounds like a volcano god. Horn’s offering was “warm and yummy.” Oh no. Horn flashed back to her needing a toilet in the vault. Horn’s offering wasn’t blood! Will Babalon’s magic still work? Nope.
Ah. Horn ends up wearing Rose’s servant contract collar. Demon Lord Ω didn’t make a young bunny girl a full slave. Also, Horn shouldn’t need to worry about Diablo dying so quickly. Let’s go, Super Horn! Haha! Super Horn is a super charmer! Don’t fear the cute. Embrace the cute! Look how proud is Babalon, yet she didn’t have anything to do with Horn’s leveling up! Mister Guards are happy to tell the cutie pie bunny girl all their secrets. Babalon wants to call Horn “Man Killer.” Why not? She’s Level 80 Man Killer now.
Diablo and company could break out of their cell any time they want, but Diablo wants to let Lumachina call the shots. Diablo must have missed the part in Demon Lord Ω when Lumachina ran away from the Church. Wait, no, he didn’t. He landed right on top of her when it happened! Horn can break them out, so that doesn’t count. Oh no. Another summoning Paladin with a terrible attitude. Ouch! Diablo will break out of the “confession chamber” now to save Horn. Time for Demon Lord roleplaying.
Ugh. This paladin summons big balls of snarling meat. That won’t work. Oops. Diablo tried that freezing trick he did on the Head Paladin Batutta. The bunny Paladin evaded that. Eat a big rock instead. Splat!
Demon Lord Ω shows how Takuma’s social anxiety works in several ways. He thought Lumachina could read his intentions! Diablo made tactical errors too. First, Lumachina doesn’t know how to lie or act. Second, she believes Diablo is God in disguise. Diablo forgot that second part. Still, he could have played it all the way through by “judging” the faithful. Vishos took that away by acting impatiently. Vishos’s chained monster is the God of Destruction, Europa.
Next time, the Demon Lord Ω season finale has a huge battle with a gross monster.
The end card by artist Korie Riko puts Shera and Rem into nice maid outfits.
