Chiaki, Aoi, and Ena were the next Laid-Back Camp girls to have days off on their part-time jobs, so they took a trip together to Lake Yamanaka at the base of Mount Fuji. Their first order of business was buying supplies at the Caribou outdoor supplies store. Aoi wanted a chair and Chiaki looked for a light hammock. A helpful clerk showed them how to get both with a couple of chairs, but we'll need to see how they work that out at the campground. Ena didn't need anything because she already got the puppy tent for Chikuwa.
Next up was soaking in a hot spring in the cold air while looking at Mount Fuji. We did not get the Aoi fanservice in the changing room that we hoped to repeat from the first season. Disappointing. After the soak and some ice cream, the trio needed to buy their food, and they settled on a hotpot suggestion from Nadeshiko. She's such an expert on "nabe" (hotpot) that the girls started calling her "Nabeshiko" instead of Nadeshiko.
Chiaki chose a campground on Cape Oumama in the middle of Lake Yamanaka. She had the idea of camping on the finger of land so it looked like they were camping surrounded by water. The campground manager nixed that idea because of the danger of winds, tides, and other inclement weather conditions. Disappointed face times three (⊙ˍ⊙)!
In an omake, Rin had a dream where she could talk to the all the forest inhabitants, including the pinecones. This did not lead to a fun conclusion when they started screaming in pain when Rin set them on fire as kindling.
