This OVA ran the length of five episodes to bring an end to OreSuki's anime adaptation. Not enough for a full season, but the final battle between Hose and Joro for Pansy's heart took a long time because of how sneaky they both were to bend the rules of their competition during Sun's baseball redemption game. Cherry and Tsukimi tried their best to make sure Joro lost.
There were plenty of flashbacks covering Sun and Joro's friendship. Even White Bench-kun made an appearance as the first fake out love confession came from Pansy to Sun. Hose's harem openly declared their love for him, so that closed down all the other subplots.
There was great back-and-forth between Joro and Hose on who was the most underhanded in winning the contest to collect the most hair barrettes. Joro with some late help from Sun's baseball fan club tied up the numbers with Pansy's barrette deservedly becoming the deciding vote.
In the end, Joro played the bastard to the end, by confessing his love for Pansy, Cosmos, Himawari, and Asunaro. He wanted a girl for every day of the week and offered tsundere Sasanqua the Friday slot. Obviously, Pansy was not happy. However, she and everyone else knew Joro wanted to spend time with his best friend Sun after he won the championship baseball game.
Pansy found Joro later for a nice moment. The sneaky bastard cheated his way into fulfilling all his promises to Sun and to Pansy, most importantly finding good friends for the beautiful girl who needed to escape a seemingly perfect guy's smothering attention. She and Joro can now be themselves with each other.
