An elite chef like Tsukasa can easily find ingredients in a convenience store to turn a Bookman like Rantabi into jelly.

The challenge of the second round was to make a meal worth more than a hundred dollars out of ingredients found inside a common convenience store. Eishi Tsukasa easily passed on his first round, but Souma needed some hints after he lost 14 bucks on his first attempted dish.

Souma took his lessons to heart and made Rantabi owe him money with his osechi dish. She was able to draw out at least 100 bucks from the "conbini" ATM, but we don't know for sure whether Souma's dish beat Eishi's almost 600 dollar dish. As quickly as Souma won, they were onto the next round where they would start to meet the Noir chefs head to head, like Sarge and her chainsaw type instrument.
