The Italian Air Force aerobatic display team, known as the Frecce Tricolori (Tricolor Arrows), handle the aerial shows seen above sporting and national civic events. They fly Italian-made Aermacchi MB339 jet trainers and their home air base at Base Aerea Rivolto made a special appearance as the official start for Stage 15 of the Giro d'Italia in 2020.
