Peter Sagan in his 13th year as a pro finally rode the Giro d'Italia in 2020. It took him until the 10th stage to win his first victory at the Italian Grand Tour and he did it on a mountainous stage from a breakaway after he kept finishing second in bunch sprints against Arnaud Demare of Groupama - FDJ. Sagan's win makes him a stage winner in all three Grand Tours, 12 at the Tour de France, 4 at the Vuelta a España, and now 1 at the Giro d'Italia.
