Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! - Episode 12 [END] - Sakurai Shuts Door on Uzaki

Uzaki's dramatic tragedy was having to do her homework before the semester started. Sakurai had no sympathy for her.

While Sakurai reminisced about how nice and polite Uzaki used to be, Master Asai threw out his back and needed a quick trip to the chiropractor. He didn't trust Ami to run the café, so they had to close down for the day.

As with all the other service industry ladies in Uza Town, Master Asai's chiropractor was an oppai-megane type. She also used a certain kind of extra massage service.

Uzaki flashed back to when she first met Sakurai when she talked with Ami about Sakurai's personality these days. She did not have a good first impression.

The funniest part of the reminiscence was when Ami noticed that Uzaki talked like Sakurai used to in high school. Uzaki never noticed her habit and became so embarrassed she had to run away.

One day Uzaki wanted to get Sakurai drunk before the new semester started and she asked Sakaki how to do that. He had a plan and Uzaki followed the instructions exactly. Shark movies and spicy fried food were big factors.

Uzaki heard that Sakurai is a truthful drunk, so she wanted to hear all the things he had to say. The joke, of course, was that Sakurai spoke so slowly while drunk, he said her loved her... cooking. But she didn't hear that last part because she started guzzling booze after freaking out over the "love" part.

Since it was Sakaki who gave Uzaki the walkthrough for getting Sakurai drunk, he decided to check on their little drinking party. He found them totally blitzed and decided to "meddle" with their friendship by putting them in the same bed to sleep off the booze. The Asais wanted to hear all the sordid details, but Uzaki and Sakurai couldn't remember anything except for shark movies. Uzaki did remember Sakurai saying he loved something about her, but she didn't want to tell him about that memory. Ami cried tears of blood for missing out on all the awkward interactions.

Uzaki suggested they have another night of drinking to make up for their lost memories, but Sakurai said they couldn't because school started tomorrow. This rocked Uzaki's world. We saw more of her home life as she woke up for the first day of classes.

Uzaki found and bothered Sakurai on their way to class and admitted that she was still sad summer vacation was over because they couldn't hang out so much anymore. Sakurai said they had all the time in the world to hang out because they would always be together, which was an unartful phrasing of saying they had plenty of time left before he graduated to hang out. Uzaki couldn't let that go and teased him mercilessly about him wanting to hang out with her. The tables turned on the last show of the season!
