You can tell we're near the end of the season because there was no nudity or sexy harem time for any of the girls. Unsurprisingly, Peter defeated Spartokos in one hit in a duel for Lisa's betrothal. It's clear why Lisa and Mimi came to Peter's guild to find a strong fighter because if Spartakos was Ogrestan's strongest fighter besides the princesses, that nation is in trouble. Harem high jinks dictate Piglette and Vegan must try to eliminate a rival in an unserious manner, and doping Spartakos to the gills through potions and magic is the way to go. I still don't see him defeating Lisa in the season finale, but something funny needs to happen to show Peter in a bad light.
