Sapphee's pregnancy joke involved reproduction, just not hers. The harpy egg was connected to the criminals who injured Kunai and they followed Glenn home after he sewed her up. To return the harpy egg, Glenn and Sapphee will have to tag along after Kunai during her security operation against the slavers who captured the harpies.
Skadi's whole system of policing is forming a monster girl posse. Lulala is Skadi's personal gondolier. Tisalia and her centaur attendants handled a large portion of the slaving gang.
Glenn and Sapphee found the slavers' hideout and the captive harpies who were held there for laying eggs. One of them was in distress because an egg got stuck in her oviduct. Glenn would have to help her pass it while violent arrests happened all around him.
The monster girls handled bad guys with various monster skills. I was impressed with Lulala's hand squirting. Mermaids are good with water, don't you know?
During Glenn's successful procedure, Sapphee recalled her memories of living with Glenn during the trade negotiation. She came from a family of assassins well-versed with poison techniques. The big secret she carried around was that she was prepared to kill the entire household.
Sapphee received a poison dagger wound, which Glenn ignored because he knew the poison would only put Sapphee to sleep because she was a lamia. During a vulnerable moment, Sapphee confessed her dark secret, but Glenn said he already knew that. He ended up loving her anyway, which flipped Sapphee's lovey-dovey switch. Unfortunately, she was still weak from the poison, so Glenn escaped her coils and held her tail as she fell asleep.
