Estarossa had memories of friendly times with the Goddess Elizabeth. He also had memories that he was Meliodas, so maybe he shouldn't trust any of them.
The cute lad Solaseed turned out to be a hot girl as Sariel occupied her body. It's a reminder that there are risks for archangels occupying hosts. And then Sariel and Tarmiel left the bodies behind as they flew to where Meliodas was kept. Why did they need the hosts again? It doesn't matter, because that question won't be addressed in the next season as we leave this one behind.
