Misaka 10032 gets mistaken for Mikoto and takes her place in the Balloon Hunter contest.

#3 - "Balloon Hunter"

Hmm.

I'm starting to smell some tasty Alphabet Soup cooking up in Railgun. The lazy looking guy from MEMBER organized his school to compete well against Mikoto's school, but that was all designed for him to isolate Mikoto and "do something" to her. It's too bad for Misaka 10032 that she got sucked into this plot. And even more interesting, Misaki is somehow involved against Mikoto too. As a member of, uh, MEMBER or on her own, we will have to find out.

The best thing about the Railgun episode was the appearance of Touma. Spiky-kun had his usual interactions with Mikoto, but I paid more attention to Misaki's reaction to meeting him. I understand that Spiky-kun is a man of boob culture, so he's always been unfortunate to have Index and Mikoto vying for his attention. We saw in Index III that the Flat is Justice sisterhood had a rough time with the introduction of Itsuwa. Since Railgun T happens before Index III, we can all see that Mikoto had prior experience prying Spiky-kun away from a chest full of a man's hopes and dreams. And I'm not even talking about Mikoto's Mama! Let's see what Misaki does with Touma during the season to rile up the Railgun even more.

Oh. Kongou realized Misaka wasn't her usual self. Yeah, since that's Misaka 10032 instead of Mikoto.

And game start! Retreat is a legitimate strategy! I'm sensing tricky tactics are coming from this school. Fun. Mikoto walks around with a froggy mask on.

Uiharu patrols for Judgement online. Oho. This school is sneaky. Setting up lots of ambushes. Double sneaky! Miss Telekinesis Megumi got taken out by a hiding telekinesis girl. More sneaky! Making the telepath scream at everyone because she's scared of spiders.

Lazy-looking Guy's plan is working too well. His school might win without even facing Mikoto, which he needed to get close to for whatever his plot is. Ho. Misaka 10032 is chasing a big booby girl. Was that part of the plot too, since they know Mikoto has a complex about her chest? Lazy-looking Guy may have done his research, but the Misaka Network knows every inch of the city from trying to kill Accelerator.

Interesting. Misaki could tell that wasn't Mikoto on the big screen. Aw. Kongou's friends are so nice. Kuro Kitty likes them too. Lazy-looking Guy keeps his eye on the prize. They need to go after Misaka! He says he has a simple way of defeating Misaka's "radar."

Kuroko is still working hard for Judgement, even from a wheelchair. Lazy-looking Guy says the way to defeat Misaka's radar is not to even try. Don't throw the beanbags at her, but get in close and tag her with it like in baseball. They thought Mikoto would be constrained in using her power since trying to stop the bags would be the same as attacking a player, which is against the rules. They didn't count on Misaka 10032 being awesome at hand-to-hand combat.

There it is. Misaka 10032 is distracted, so Lazy-looking Guy can sting her with his mosquito drone. Misaka 10032 felt that mosquito bite. Supposedly, that bite will incapacitate her. We now have plots within plots! The sadistic dorm mother plans on punishments for Misaka's school losing.

Aw. Mikoto acts like the big sister to cheer Misaka 10032 up. Consolation prize of eating from food booths is nice.

Yeah! Mikoto lunches with Mama. Mama wants wine! There he is! Spiky-kun! Did he just make it sound like he and his parents are joining Misaka Mama? Mikoto didn't catch that! Geh. Mikoto doesn't like Misaki. Har. Touma just checked out Misaki's figure. Mikoto is not happy with his sight lines. Also, the way he asked if Misaki was her classmate made it sound like he believed she looked way more mature than Mikoto. Oh no. Don't call Mikoto "biri biri" too much. Looks like Spiky-kun prevented a massive catastrophe.

Saten is still looking for that Shadow Metal. Uiharu is bored after shutting down three large scale cyberattacks. Uiharu will join Saten's treasure hunt for the adventure. Oops. Saten's usual celebration is hampered by Uiharu's gym shorts.

Uh oh. Misaka 10032 finally felt the effects of whatever the mosquito did to her. And Misaki is there to pick her up? Plots within plots!
