Elizabeth vowed to find a way to be together with Meliodas after breaking their respective curses.
The Seven Deadly Sins had time to regroup after rescuing citizens from the Zeldris and the demons, but Diana and Elizabeth still felt sad about being separated from Meliodas, sending Ban to Purgatory, and having Gowther out of commission.
The sudden arrival of three of the archangels in borrowed bodies made most of the Kingdom of Liones happy, but some were suspicious, and others like Elizabeth remembered how Ludociel treated the human clan three thousand years ago. There's also the very ominous way Ludociel, Tarmiel, and Sariel react to any talk of the missing archangel Mael, and why it's implied Estarossa is responsible.
I actually learned something from Hawk's omake. Since nobody said their names during the episode, it was up to Tarmiel and Sariel to introduce themselves. Hawk remembered their bodies, though, as Arbus and Solaseed from the Fighting Festival so long ago when Meliodas and Elizabeth were trying to reunite the Seven Deadly Sins.
