Gabe Miller quickly establishes his goals for the Dark Territory Empire's invasion, provoking jubilation and dismay from his subjects.
Episode 4 - "Dark Territory"
Hmm.
Gabriel Miller is a psychopath literally looking for souls to eat. Now he gets his chance in Underworld after somehow eating the soul of the first person he killed — his own childhood friend Alicia. I can stop paying attention to his character development now. He is there as a pure evil plot device. Even as a child, he was digging around in Alicia's head for her soul. He's probably delusional too, for believing he saw it, absorbed it, and saw through Alicia's eyes as she left the mortal plane. The similarity of his delusion lining up with seeing what Lipia saw in her last moments is too much to be coincidence. We've never had psychic abilities in the real world of this story before, so it seems out of place and not well established. At least we know where Miller's catchphrase of "Your soul will be so sweet," comes from. Like I said before, his character development is over and I can stop caring about him.Unfortunately, I can also stop caring about the sexy pacifist faction in the Dark Territory. They're both dead in less than an episode, and we even got a snuff scene out of the beautiful Lipia. That was really disappointing. It also signals that we're not going to have any kind of vanilla love coming from the Dark Territory either. We're going to have some even more disturbing sexual bondage and assault with Vassago running around, like we did with those nobles in the first half of this story. Oh well. It will make the inevitable violence visited upon Miller and Vassago even more satisfying when it gets dished out by Kirito's Scooby Gang.
Heh.
Oh. So that's where the girl in the red dress came from. Alicia. Another Alice type. Too bad Miller isn't here to save her soul. He already ate it.There are different kinds of goblins, giants, ogres look like wolves, orcs look pigs, a tribe of fist-fighters, an assassin guild, these dark mages are hot, we saw the dark knights already, and lastly, the commerce guild. Those guys must be dwarves.
Hello Dark Mage DIL (Dee Eye Ell)! I hope there's something clever about this designation.
Blood and terror. Flames and destruction. Death and screams. Emperor Vecta really means it. He only wants the Priestess of Light, the monsters can have the rest. That made a whole bunch of Dark Territory guys happy.
Vassago will have time to get his freak on later. Alice can be ejected from the console in Emperor Vecta's quarters. If so, what's the point of the Altar at World's End? I suppose that's what we'll find out.
Lipia! Already! Oof. That assassination plot didn't work. Terrible. She's gone too soon.
What is this crap? We never saw fluctlights do this. Also terrible. Gabe is a pure psychopath.
They keep showing that one fist-fighter girl worried about the ogres. And now Lipia's lover Vixur is gone too. Assassins like using poison. These artificial fluctlights may have some odd powers because they weren't part of Rath's human side experiments.
Don't mess with Vixur. He can read soul memories. Uh, could. He saw that Miller was a pure psycho. We figured that out when he was a child killing animals and little girl friends.
DIL lost a leg, but she's the first to hail the emperor.
Oh yeah, Alice and Kirito. "Destroyed at the last stage." Not the gate — hope.
