Things are pretty much the same in the monster village for Rimuru with Shion and Shuna fighting over who gets to carry him around.
Rimuru isn't surprised that this is the 2nd OAD without having seen the 1st one yet. Seriously, this is the second one. The first one got postponed for a Fall release date. No, Rimuru realized that he couldn't just make slime copies to assuage Shion and Shuna because all of the villagers would want their own.
Rimuru's solution was to make a bean bag version of himself, but this would require spandex and Styrofoam beads. Shockingly, everyone knew what spandex was, but they would have to gather smooth beads at a lake with a mysterious monster in it. Of course, this meant everyone in the bead gathering party would get their own spandex swimsuits. Except Miliim. She crashed the party and made her own spandex swimsuit.
Naturally, the boss of the lake had tentacles with which to harass Rimuru's group. The guys got it as bad as the girls, but who wants to see that? Wait, I know people who want to see that, but you won't get it here.
Since Rimuru is a big boss monster himself, he easily made friends with the conch, abalone, mollusk monster after he went berserk from eating something Shion made. He was too late to stop its tentacles from melting everyone's spandex swimsuits, but I'm not complaining.
