Omake Gif Anime - Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? - Episode 5 - Girls Sit on Machio


Machio has totally turned into a magical animal mascot if the high school girls can sit on him while he does a backbend. He's like their pet dragon.



Hibiki got stuck doing the 400 meter relay for Sports Day and wondered if strength training can help her running. Macho Man points to the hamstring, specifically, Satomi's hamstrings!


Oh yes! It's Satomi's turn to be the sexy exercise model, pointing out how the leg curl machine works the hamstrings and tones the butt.


Leg curls are hard because the hamstrings are used to only pulling up the weight of your foot and lower leg. Hibiki got fired up because she heard the magic words "tone your butt." She wants that hot bikini body by the end of the year!



Hibiki wondered if there was anything else she could do to help her sprint. Macho Man introduced the next exercise video for the Bicycle Crunch. This works the side abs and hip flexors which raise the knee up to the gut. Hibki heard the magic words "slim waist" and got fired up again.



Macho Man's magical shrinking sweatsuit still cracks me up.




Hibiki gave a tutorial video on how to use the sauna properly to help blood circulation and increase metabolism. She warned against drinking before you go in and not doing it while you have a fever. Of course, you should shower before you go in too.


The girls got their competitive streak on to see who could last the longest. They wagered their raffle tickets from the gym to give them all to the winner. Hibiki wanted revenge against Satomi-sensei for disqualifying in the relay because she picked up a dropped baton, when her teammate should have picked it up first and then handed it to her. Satomi looked like a lock to win, but she had already passed out.


The workout omake covers the Bicycle Crunch. I tried the version in the show, and surprisingly it doesn't help a cyclist out too much. I did feel the side abs working more than I'm used to, but I could basically do these forever. My form on the bike doesn't let my knees go up that high up usually, so that's the strain I felt on the side abs.
