Aki learned that Sumire has a huge fixation on anything small and cute, which explains her "friendship" with Yuzu.
Yuzu has started spending a lot of time in Aki's room, for reasons she can't admit yet. Aki wasn't sure why she freaked out after reading a romance manga while sitting in his lap, so Ayaka "explained" things. Very well, too!
Sumire got a little jealous of Yuzu spending time with Aki, so she began investigating him. They bonded over liking cute things, but Sumire's version of "liking" is more like obsession.
Sumire was depressed, but Yuzu and Yuri didn't think they were the ones to cheer her up. She was sad because they went to the amusement park and Yuzu wasn't tall enough to ride a roller coaster and she blamed herself.
Sumire's friends figured she needed a small cute person who was not Yuzu to cheer her up. Yuri took Aki's reluctance to enter a girl's room by dressing him up as a girl again, but it did the trick.
The end card has the student council wearing cute frilly pajamas, just like Sumire likes to do.
