Omake Gif Anime - Asobi Asobase - Episode 1 - Olivia Super Smug

This gag comedy is all about facial reaction shots, so it's no surprise that Olivia can give good smug.

The opening credit sequence emphasizes the yuri bait inherent in an all girl main cast, but also showcases how cute the girls are supposed to be. That is, on the rare occasions they're not expressing extreme reactions.

How the three girls, Kasumi, Olivia, and Hanako, met was not very auspicious, built on subterfuge, rudeness, and revenge. Kasumi is bookish, but has poor grades in English. Olivia is looks American like her parents, but is a native born Japanese in all other respects. Kasumi coerced Olivia into tutoring her in English when Olivia gets only marginally better grades, providing much humorous content.

Hanako is the idiot idea girl of the bunch. She provided the pretense of a club to let Olivia "tutor" Kasumi in English. The first activity of the Pastimers Club didn't look very safe, but it did let us know that Kasumi is the source of eye candy for this show.

The end card goes straight for the fan service inspired by the wading pool vignette.
