Hawk didn't really power up at the Druid village. He just found a dragon to eat which gave him some of its powers. Meliodas was more interested in how Elizabeth was affected by Hawk's ill wind.
The Druids gave Elizabeth a new outfit. Meliodas approved, after a careful inspection of course.
