Jana the Black Witch was kept alive to be blamed for summoning the Demon Lord at the catastrophe at the very beginning of this show. Siluca is skeptical about the plot, but Jana really could summon that Demon to take her to hell instead of being executed.
Another surprise was that Laura, Villar's mage who drank poison to commit suicide, was given a different kind of poison. She was only "mostly dead," and now serves that hot Lady Edokia. I hope we see them both naked and kissing each other real soon!
