Kaiko has an interesting inspiration for all her sexy manga drawings - sexy underwear!
This episode was all about passionate artistic differences and proper media adaptation. Actually, it was about nudity and detailed lingerie. Still, it was such an important debate, they changed the opening sequences and they polled the entire episode staff on which they preferred and put it next to their names in the credits!
Kaiko challenged Itsuki's light novel illustrator to a manga drawing contest. Through it, we learned the depths of Kaiko's panties fetish and how Setsuna loves bare butts.
Kaiko won, of course. There's more to manga than just drawing butts and panties well. There's paneling and narrative flow too. Setsuna didn't have it, while Kaiko made the nudity purists very interested in just how that detailed underwear made its way off a sexy body.
Because Kaiko influenced Itsuki into including underwear into his stories, Nayuta became very upset over how her plans to run around naked all day in her and Itsuki's married couple's house may have been ruined.
Nayuta's plan to turn Kaiko over to the nudity side ended in failure, but Kaiko was convinced to compromise with adding in some nudity. Her problem, neither her or Nayuta's breasts were big enough to model the main heroine. Miyako just happened to be there, so...
Itsuki was impressed with how his heroine turned out naked. He was basically looking at Miyako's bare body, but he didn't have to know that.
The end card replicates the ridiculous argument between Itsuki and Kaiko over whose rural hometown was better. Gifu and Gunma prefectures both have their own charms.
